The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS+ 2.56 kWh module is an expansion unit for BYD’s modular high-voltage battery storage system, designed for residential and smaller commercial photovoltaic installations. Thanks to its plug-and-play design, installation is fast and straightforward, while the system capacity can be flexibly expanded according to changing energy storage needs.
One of the key advantages of the HVS+ system is the integrated balancing optimizer, which enables automatic SOC adjustment. This eliminates the need for manual state-of-charge setting during initial commissioning or later system expansion. The new BCU is compatible with HVB and HVM+ modules and supports efficient system configuration via the Installer App.
With cobalt-free LiFePO4 battery technology, the BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS+ offers a high level of safety, long service life and reliable performance. The system can be expanded up to 38.4 kWh by connecting towers in parallel, making it a flexible solution for various energy storage requirements. Its IP55 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor and protected outdoor installation.
The BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS+ supports backup and off-grid applications and also offers remote diagnostics and OTA update capability. The system is covered by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
